Sophia was a bright, joyful child — the kind of spirit that fills every room with light. When cancer entered her life, it brought with it a world most families are completely unprepared for: confusing medical systems, exhausting hospital stays, and the terrifying feeling of being utterly alone.

But look at that face. Bandaged. Tubes in place. Fighting for her life — and still smiling. That courage, that light, that refusal to give in — it never left her. And it never left her mother Vivian either.
